Can you promote your product in r/youtubers?
No, you cannot promote your product freely in r/youtubers. Rule 3, "No self-promotion or engagement begging," says you may not link your own videos or channel except where explicitly allowed, and Rule 5, "No Spam, Surveys, Services, or Hoodwinkery," says posts or comments that exist primarily to sell, promote, or drive traffic to a product, service, app, platform, course, survey, or website are considered spam and you will be banned for it.

What gets removed
- Linking your own videos or channel outside explicitly allowed places
- Engagement begging, including "sub for sub," watch time exchanges, or asking people to share their channels
- Promoting products, services, apps, tools, courses, surveys, websites, or affiliate/referral codes
- Disguised self-promo, trickery, or undisclosed relationships to linked content, this can lead to an immediate permanent ban
Safer ways to show up
- Join as an established YouTube creator and keep discussion focused on improving channels, strategy, and craft
- Use only the explicitly allowed lanes mentioned in the rules, such as the Monthly Show-Off Thread or properly formatted Review/Critique posts
- Get the required verified user flair by reading the rules and agreeing to them in the pinned instructions post
- Participate with on-topic, professional, non-promotional discussion and avoid linking your own channel or products
