Can you promote your product in r/UXDesign?

No. Rule 4 explicitly says, "Promoting your product, service, tool, or anything for sale is not allowed" and adds "No marketing or self-promotion," including tools, articles, books, newsletters, videos, podcasts, training, events, and mentorship. Related outreach is also restricted by Rule 6 on user recruitment and Rule 7 on inviting members to groups, events, or one-on-one meetings.

Safer ways to show up

Post on-topic professional discussions about UX work, such as research, IA, interaction design, accessibility, systems design, or career advancement
If you ask for help, provide specific context: describe the problem, research done, approaches considered, and what has not worked
Use the weekly stickied threads for personal job-search questions, portfolio feedback, case studies, and resumes
Search before you post, and use required post flair

Whatever the written rules say, the pattern that gets promo removed everywhere is the same: batches of similar comments, reused wording, and necro-posting on old threads.
