Rule 4: No self-promotion

Rule 2: Do not spam

What gets removed

  • Self-promotional and showcase posts outside the fortnightly pinned Self-promo & Showcase threads
  • Spam
  • Offensive, sexual, discriminatory, political or irrelevant content
  • Pirated content, paid products or templates being asked for or supplied

Safer ways to show up

  • Use the fortnightly pinned Self-promo & Showcase thread for templates, integrations, or dashboard showcases
  • Answer questions and join discussion without promoting yourself
  • Share only legit, working, potentially helpful resources
  • Avoid supplying paid templates or products
Whatever the written rules say, the pattern that gets promo removed everywhere is the same: batches of similar comments, reused wording, and necro-posting on old threads. A promotional mention only has value if it survives, so pace matters more than volume. We measured this the expensive way: 70% of bought pool comments were removed within two weeks.
