Can you promote your product in r/NewTubers?

You generally cannot promote your product in r/NewTubers. Rule 1, "No Self Promotion," says, "This is not a place to dump your videos and leave!" and only allows links to your content in the Weekly Feedback Friday and Self-Introduce Saturday megathreads, or in critique threads by other users. Rule 2, "No Advertising," also says advertising is not allowed without prior written authorization from the mod team, and that applies to third-party products, services, and market research.

Posts without flair, or posts with the wrong flair, may be removed without notice

Safer ways to show up

Use the most recent Feedback Friday megathread if you want to post your own content link
Use the most recent Self Introduce Saturday if you want to introduce yourself to the community
If you post your content where allowed, give meaningful feedback to at least two other people first
Ask questions or join community discussions, and make sure every post has the correct flair

Whatever the written rules say, the pattern that gets promo removed everywhere is the same: batches of similar comments, reused wording, and necro-posting on old threads.
