Can you promote your product in r/macapps?

Yes, but only under specific conditions. Rule 3, "Limited Self-Promotion," says self-promotion is allowed only infrequently, "not permitted more than once per developer in 30 days," and Rule 8, "Promote in Megathread," says anyone who does not qualify for main feed promotion must use the monthly Megathread. Rule 1 also says app devs have "No main feed promotion unless you qualify" and must use the PCP Post template.
