Yes, you can promote your product in r/LocalLLaMA, but Rule 4, "Limit Self-Promotion," sets clear conditions. - Off-topic posts, posts must be related to Llama or LLMs
- Low effort posts may be removed
- LLM based bots posing as humans are strictly not allowed
- Completely or primarily LLM generated copy, code is not allowed
Safer ways to show up
- Keep any self-promotion under the Rule 4 1/10 guideline
- Clearly disclose your affiliation
- Do not frame your own product as "I found this" or use engagement farming
- Make sure your post is actually about Llama or LLMs
