Can you promote your product in r/javascript?

Yes, but only within clear limits. The rules say in Rule 1, "It's ok to promote your own content, or content that you're otherwise vested in, but it should not constitute a majority of your contributions," and Rule 7 adds, "Advertising paid products and services is prohibited." The public description also says to "keep self promotion to a minimum/reasonable level."
