No, you generally cannot promote your product in r/Entrepreneur. Public description

"this is a space for genuine connection and exchange of ideas, not self-promotion. Please refrain from promoting personal blogs, consulting services, books, MLMs, opinions."

Quoted from the subreddit's own rules, snapshot from July 2026. Read all 5 rules on Reddit

What gets removed

  • Promotional, sales, solicitation, recruiting, hiring, job-seeking, or investment-pitch posts
  • Posts or comments that drop URLs, ask for DMs, tell people to check your profile, or offer private resources
  • AI-generated posts or comments
  • Rule violations may result in a permanent ban

Safer ways to show up

  • Participate meaningfully in comments on other posts before posting yourself
  • Share specific, practical, original insights grounded in real entrepreneurial effort
  • Use the designated weekly threads for allowed promo-type content, such as Thank You Thursday, Talent Tuesday, or Feedback Friday
  • If you want to do an AMA, ask for approval through modmail first
Whatever the written rules say, the pattern that gets promo removed everywhere is the same: batches of similar comments, reused wording, and necro-posting on old threads. A promotional mention only has value if it survives, so pace matters more than volume. We measured this the expensive way: 70% of bought pool comments were removed within two weeks.
