Can you promote your product in r/AmazonSeller?

You cannot promote your product in regular posts or comments. Rule 2, "Self-Promo goes in the Community Promotional Post," says the pinned Community Promo Post is "the ONLY place to discuss or link to things you are affiliated with," including your "product," and the submit page says, "Promotion or lead generation outside the community pinned post will result in a permanent ban." Even in that promo post, Rule 4 bans affiliate, indirect, masked, shortened, and tracking links, and Rule 2 says to disclose any affiliations.

Whatever the written rules say, the pattern that gets promo removed everywhere is the same: batches of similar comments, reused wording, and necro-posting on old threads.
